Course Details

Our two-hour asbestos awareness course covers the requirements for annual training for schools and for personnel who work in a commercial or public building around friable or damaged asbestos materials. Schools require EPA and OSHA annual training for all custodial and maintenance staff working in K-12 school buildings. New hires are required to receive this training within 60 days of employment. All students will receive a certificate of course completion. Topics covered include: asbestos background information, recognizing asbestos in the work place, health effects related to asbestos, review of the AHERA asbestos management plan and more. The cost of the course is PER STUDENT. The Zoom meeting link for the course will be sent out the day prior. Please use your full name when signing into Zoom so your attendance is noted. We highly recommend using a camera and microphone. Students will get the most out of the course by actively participating! We look forward to having you in class!
