Course Details

**This online registration also includes the 8-hour Floor Tile Worker portion of the course, held the day prior.** Did you know that school personnel may remove unlimited floor tile with the proper training? Our Floor Tile courses are that training! The first day is the 8-hour Floor Tile Worker portion. This course teaches school personnel the requirements and best practices for removing asbestos containing floor tile and mastics in school buildings. There is an exam after the course. The second day is the 4-hour Floor Tile Competent Person portion. This course expands on the previous day's knowledge and covers additional topics such as paperwork and responsibilities of the Competent Person. There is an exam after the course. At least one individual with Competent Person training must be present during all non-friable asbestos floor tile removal project activities. The asbestos floor tile worker course is a prerequisite for this course.
